In the 27th minute, Jan-Kenneth Øglænd reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Leopoldo Queirós. The goal made the score 1-1. Kristen Sollien fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Queirós having to interfere. 2-1 became the score in the 34th minute when Kristen Sollien elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Leopoldo Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alf Eik in the 43rd minute of the match.

Douglas Fowler was a little too slow when Aílton Mota got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 51st minute. The score was now 2-2. When Kenneth Stordal fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Pladask's protests and gave Kenneth Stordal a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Gracie Barra booed when FC Pladask was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kenneth Stordal didn't get a good kick on the ball.
