Andrei Marioara started the match with the kick off. Nistor Arjoca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elano Reis in the 7th minute of play. João Paulo Urbano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrei Marioara in the 9th minute of play. 11 minutes into the game, S.C. Reis United's Elano Reis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nistor Arjoca made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. João Paulo Urbano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurel Mustea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aurel Mustea scored 1-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of João Paulo Urbano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice moves Andrei Marioara could shoot a difficult shot in the 23rd minute, which João Paulo Urbano however easily saved by the left post. The supporters of -BZF- Petrolul Berca booed when S.C. Reis United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafa Mello didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th match minute, -BZF- Petrolul Berca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolae Pencu to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marioara Miculescu in the 32nd minute of play forced S.C. Reis United's goalkeeper João Paulo Urbano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute, Luisinho Trancoso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. João Paulo Urbano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilian Ciprian in the 35th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Aurel Mustea took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for João Paulo Urbano to make any attempt to save it. After 40 played minutes S.C. Reis United got a freekick which was hit by Natanael Maranhense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aurel Mustea in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck João Paulo Urbano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 42nd minute, Rafa Mello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 46 minutes, Amadeu Negri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. S.C. Reis United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amadeu Negri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 47 minutes, Rafa Mello mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the S.C. Reis United and the -BZF- Petrolul Berca players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 47th match minute, S.C. Reis United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafa Mello to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elano Reis made a kick off. After 51 played minutes S.C. Reis United got a freekick which was hit by Rafa Mello. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrei Marioara in the 54th minute of play forced S.C. Reis United's goalkeeper João Paulo Urbano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damian Târban was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 56 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 55th minute of the game. One of -BZF- Petrolul Berca:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of S.C. Reis United:s goal. After having played for 60 minutes, Emilian Ciprian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. -BZF- Petrolul Berca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emilian Ciprian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aurel Mustea kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Nistor Arjoca made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Amadeu Negri sent off a good shot on target. João Paulo Urbano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilian Ciprian in the 67th minute of the match. João Paulo Urbano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurel Mustea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilian Ciprian in the 84th minute of play forced S.C. Reis United's goalkeeper João Paulo Urbano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aurel Mustea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. João Paulo Urbano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Marioara Miculescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Betão de Carvalho's late challenge caught a -BZF- Petrolul Berca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Betão de Carvalho helped the player get up and apologised. In the 90th minute, Betão de Carvalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Hermínio Reis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

S.C. Reis United's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
