The throw-in from Hugo Ferrant in the 6th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by ÑOQUIS 29 FC's Melquiades Balasi. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melquiades Balasi in the 7th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Efrain Moruga made in the 16th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Eliseo Noboa however managed to control. Efrain Moruga made in the 19th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Eliseo Noboa immediately put the ball in play. A sloppy throw-in by Juan Rubio in the 21st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by ÑOQUIS 29 FC's Melquiades Balasi. Melquiades Balasi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 27 minutes in the game Hugo Ferrant did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Lautaro Puig. Hilario Ibañez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Puig in the 33rd minute of play. ÑOQUIS 29 FC's Blas Diagur got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A sloppy throw-in by Efrain Moruga in the 38th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by ÑOQUIS 29 FC's Gervasio Donostia. 40 minutes into the match, ÑOQUIS 29 FC's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Tasis came free, but Hilario Ibañez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Juan Rubio in the 42nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by ÑOQUIS 29 FC's Melquiades Balasi. ÑOQUIS 29 FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Blas Diagur in the 44th minute. ÑOQUIS 29 FC's Blas Diagur was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Benito Sanz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

ÑOQUIS 29 FC's Alvaro Chuse managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Hugo Ferrant in the 59 minute of the game. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by ÑOQUIS 29 FC's Melquiades Balasi. But to his dismay, Melquiades Balasi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The audience was convinced that Axel Tasis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hilario Ibañez was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. After 76 minutes, Bartolo Abreu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ÑOQUIS 29 FC and the Costa Rica players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 76 played minutes ÑOQUIS 29 FC got a freekick which was hit by Bartolo Abreu. In the 82nd minute, Melquiades Balasi made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melquiades Balasi in the 88th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melquiades Balasi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
