In the 17th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerome Ngake saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Benny Hill came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jerome Ngake showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 27th minute of the match. After some careless play in the FC Draconia defense, Julian Murillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jerome Ngake. The FC Draconia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jerome Ngake should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 32nd minute of play forced FC Draconia's goalkeeper Jerome Ngake to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Jerome Ngake made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 58th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, FC Draconia's goalkeeper Jerome Ngake had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Murillo. Through an outstanding action, after 63 minutes, Jerome Ngake successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luz Tejedor got free with Jerome Ngake in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The throw-in from Alonso Berganza in the 69th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC Draconia's Harald Sulems. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregoire Decorte in the 72nd minute of play. After taking down the ball on Peru's corner Eliseo Mina fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jerome Ngake quite easily take care of the ball. When Gregoire Decorte came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the FC Draconia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gregoire Decorte couldn't finish the play. If Rafael Gallo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A throw-in in the 91st minute of the game was made by Alonso Berganza with Eliseo Alcocer as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 92 minutes into the match, FC Draconia's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Gallo came free, but Jerome Ngake reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute Peru were awarded a corner. Eliseo Mina went to the cornerflag to take it. Peru's Eliseo Mina was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jerome Ngake in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Jerome Ngake showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Gallo in the 96th minute of the match. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Draconia's goalkeeper Jerome Ngake, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Peru played a much better game than FC Draconia and deserved their victory. The FC Draconia players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
