When USA's Cassius Byrne, in the 23rd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for USA. After a rather tough play, Aioros FC's Wang Qi Chang got a free kick in the 29th minute. Beat Vid made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 30th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Diego Bradley got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Beat Vid quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 33rd minute, Aioros FC's Bento Chandeiro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 39thth minute of the game Monty Rogers who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aioros FC's Beat Vid was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 44 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Bento Chandeiro came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Cassius Byrne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cassius Byrne stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cassius Byrne came free with the goalkeeper in the 52nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Beat Vid could save by the left post. Beat Vid showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 65th minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beat Vid saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the USA defense, Bento Chandeiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marco Day. The USA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marco Day should have stopped the shot. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. Aioros FC's Ernest Haaland was substituted for Bento Chandeiro. Aioros FC's Nicolas Agerbo was substituted for Kaloyan Chikov. Monty Rogers's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Beat Vid read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernest Haaland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sam Campbell got free with Beat Vid in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 85 minutes into the game, Sam Campbell cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Beat Vid was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Beat Vid made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Baker in the 89th minute of play. Beat Vid showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Khalid Parry, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Aioros FC were victorious despite being under pressure from USA for much of the match.
