Aquiles Soter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 9thth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CLUB ATLETICO DONO's Aquiles Soter was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonathan Ferrant didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 15th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Aquiles Soter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Erubiel Vidal came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, CLUB ATLETICO DONO's Jonathan Ferrant threw himself towards the right post 27 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Teodoro Nafarroa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 40th minute of play forced CLUB ATLETICO DONO's goalkeeper Aquiles Soter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as CLUB ATLETICO DONO's Pascual Gonzales slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 3-0 after 46 minutes of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Aquiles Soter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Pascual Gonzales hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Aquiles Soter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 57th minute of play. Rigoberto Mina kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Claudio Fernendo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Claudio Fernendo in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Venezuela booed when CLUB ATLETICO DONO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Gilabert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquiles Soter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aquiles Soter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 73rd minute. In the 80th minute CLUB ATLETICO DONO were awarded a corner. Teodoro Nafarroa went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 84th match minute, CLUB ATLETICO DONO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petr Minkov to maneuver through the defense. A throw-in in the 85th minute of the game was made by Jonas Gilabert with Petr Minkov as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 96th minute, CLUB ATLETICO DONO's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Tomas Illescas fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. There was no doubt that CLUB ATLETICO DONO were the better team. CLUB ATLETICO DONO's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
