In the 7th minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franko Armani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Cassius Byrne came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the USA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cassius Byrne couldn't finish the play. After 12 played minutes USA got a freekick which was hit by Edward Mcdonald. In the 13th minute López Heredia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Cassius Byrne put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Franko Armani. The supporters of Teodelina FC booed when USA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacob May didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marco Day made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when López Heredia sent off a good shot on target. In the 20th minute of the match Teodelina FC got a corner. USA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gyuro Tzonkin ran over to the corner to take the kick. Emanuel Mammana made a great header on Teodelina FC's corner, it was just that USA's Marco Day managed to reach the ball for a save. 23 minutes into the match, Teodelina FC's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Franko Armani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to USA getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Jacob May hit a great ball. After having played for 25 minutes, López Heredia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Teodelina FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but López Heredia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 30 minutes Teodelina FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cassius Byrne who took care of the corner kick. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind USA's goalkeeper Marco Day, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Franko Armani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 36th minute of the match. López Heredias short, quick shot in the 40thth minute got Marco Day to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when López Heredia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Franko Armani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Mcdonald in the 55th minute of the match. With a little luck, Teodelina FC's Franko Armani got control of the ball when Cassius Byrne tried to sneak it across the goal line. Teodelina FC made a substitution. After some careless play in the USA defense, Billy Sharp kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marco Day. The USA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marco Day should have stopped the shot. 94 minutes into the match, Billy Sharp notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of USA's Marco Day. Marco Day was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
