Dennis Beerthuis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pascual Markel in the 11th minute of the match. Dennis Beerthuis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto da Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hermengildo Nesor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermengildo Nesor in the 23rd minute of play forced FC LauB's goalkeeper Rutger Danielsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rutger Danielsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hermengildo Nesor in the 25th minute. Winthont FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Yağızalp Öznur in the 26th minute. The corner led Winthont FC's Yağızalp Öznur to fire away a dangerous shot which Rutger Danielsson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 29th minute, Hermengildo Nesor made a precise shot to the right of Rutger Danielsson. FC LauB's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. When Winthont FC's Hermengildo Nesor in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC LauB's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of FC LauB booed when Winthont FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto da Cunha was slow to take the kick. During this time FC LauB's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Augusto da Cunha got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dennis Beerthuis quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, Winthont FC's Pascal Zegeling got a free kick in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hermengildo Nesor to make the kick off. A collision led to Winthont FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Hermengildo Nesor hit a great ball. Tony Drewitz got a throw-in 60 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Andrzej Brysz. Winthont FC's Sixto Gorbea was substituted for Hermengildo Nesor. Rutger Danielsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sixto Gorbea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pascual Markel received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dennis Beerthuis came out and tried to block the shot, but Pascual Markel slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 72nd minute. After a rather tough play, Winthont FC's Leif Hammarberg got a free kick in the 79th minute. Dennis Beerthuis made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Pascual Markel sent off a good shot on target. Ander Lepist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Dennis Beerthuis made a huge save. In the 88th play minute Ander Lepist came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dennis Beerthuis. 2-2. In the 91st minute of the match, Pascual Markel tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dennis Beerthuis saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. FC LauB's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Augusto da Cunha in the 92nd minute. The corner led FC LauB's Augusto da Cunha to fire away a dangerous shot which Dennis Beerthuis despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 95th minute Sixto Gorbea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rutger Danielsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score was 2-2 after 90 minutes, which forced the match into extra-time.

The players didn't get much rest, but they still tried to pep each other up as they lined up for the first half in overtime. FC LauB's Ander Lepist started the play with his kick off. 104 minutes into the match, Augusto da Cunha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dennis Beerthuis. Winthont FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Augusto da Cunha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. The Winthont FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC LauB were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
