The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Minerul Baita -MM-'s Cédric Payen dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cédric Payen in the 11th minute of play forced Lunar Park's goalkeeper Vachon Sánchez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Derviş Okan fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lunar Park's protests and gave Derviş Okan a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Lunar Park getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Derviş Okan hit a great ball. Vachon Sánchez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Qiu Wei Ting, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute Mathis Huet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iordache Hirean saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If William Raynard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Minerul Baita -MM-'s zone, William Raynard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iordache Hirean came out of the goal and William Raynard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Iordache Hirean made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Raynard in the 29th minute of play. Mathis Huet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Iordache Hirean tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. William Raynard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Codruț Podgoreanu in the 36th minute of play forced Lunar Park's goalkeeper Vachon Sánchez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Minerul Baita -MM-'s Vachon Sánchez threw himself towards the right post 38 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cédric Payen, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If William Raynard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 44 minutes into the match, Minerul Baita -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when William Raynard came free, but Iordache Hirean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute of the match Lunar Park got a corner. Minerul Baita -MM-'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Esteban Alvarado ran over to the corner to take the kick. Iordache Hirean made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Raynard in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cédric Payen to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Qiu Wei Ting left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Minerul Baita -MM- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. The throw-in from Bolo Miner in the 58th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Lunar Park's Basile Navarre. William Raynard scored 3-1 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iordache Hirean, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vachon Sánchez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cédric Payen in the 61st minute of the match. After having played for 61 minutes, Qiu Wei Ting managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Minerul Baita -MM-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Qiu Wei Ting was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cédric Payen took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vachon Sánchez. Vachon Sánchez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. In the 64th match minute, Lunar Park was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathis Huet to maneuver through the defense. William Raynard's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iordache Hirean read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. When Lunar Park's William Raynard in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Vachon Sánchez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Codruț Podgoreanu in the 77th minute of play. 84 minutes into the game, Nathan Depré was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lunar Park's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Minerul Baita -MM- the free kick. In the 84th match minute, Lunar Park was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nathan Depré to maneuver through the defense. Minerul Baita -MM- made a substitution. Pavel Niță replaced Cédric Payen. After a defensive mix-up in Minerul Baita -MM-'s zone, William Raynard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iordache Hirean came out of the goal and William Raynard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
