An unexpectedly hard shot by Lindo Trollo in the 17th minute of play forced La Scaloneta's goalkeeper Albano Bemabe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Campeones del Mundo booed when La Scaloneta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apolo Aurken didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Julián Álvarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 69 minutes into the game, Rigoberto Cuarto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Scaloneta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Campeones del Mundo the free kick. Alexis Mac Allister got his second yellow card in the match during the 70th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The goalkeeper, Albano Bemabe, was totally fooled by Campeones del Mundo's Lindo Trollo, who 93 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Jonatan Ubendu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Albano Bemabe came out and tried to block the shot, but Jonatan Ubendu slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 95th minute. Albano Bemabe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lindo Trollo, who was totally free with the ball in the 99th minute.

The Campeones del Mundo players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
