The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute Salvador Labra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaldo de Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 5th minute, Salvador Labra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eduardo Machado kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. After 8 played minutes, SICARIOS Fútbol Club's Paco Parrasia shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Arnaldo de Carvalho came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SICARIOS Fútbol Club reached it. Goblins F.C.'s Arnaldo de Carvalho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Goblins F.C. from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Goblins F.C.'s Agostinho Borges got a free kick in the 17th minute. The supporters of SICARIOS Fútbol Club booed when Goblins F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waldemar Ramos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnaldo de Carvalho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Salvador Labra's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. After 28 played minutes SICARIOS Fútbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Washington Larreta. Valerio Azaola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vivaldo Munhoz, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After 34 played minutes SICARIOS Fútbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Ezmundo Urenda. In the 41stth minute of the game Zé Pedro Mendes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SICARIOS Fútbol Club's Valerio Azaola was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Goblins F.C.'s Waldemar Ramos got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Arnaldo de Carvalho was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Paco Parrasia. Arnaldo de Carvalho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erasmo Arellano in the 47th minute.

The wind increased when Vivaldo Munhoz made the kick off in the second half. Sergio Floto took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnaldo de Carvalho. Arnaldo de Carvalho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 62nd minute Erasmo Arellano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaldo de Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnaldo de Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Washington Larreta in the 63rd minute of play. A collision led to Goblins F.C. getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Abelardo Pitta hit a great ball. After 69 played minutes, SICARIOS Fútbol Club's Washington Larreta shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Arnaldo de Carvalho came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SICARIOS Fútbol Club reached it. If Salvador Labra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Salvador Labra fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SICARIOS Fútbol Club's protests and gave Salvador Labra a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to SICARIOS Fútbol Club getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Salvador Labra hit a great ball. Valerio Azaola acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 78th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Waldemar Ramos. In the 87th match minute, SICARIOS Fútbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Washington Larreta to maneuver through the defense. When SICARIOS Fútbol Club's Sergio Floto in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Goblins F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal.

For all the effort they put into the match, the Goblins F.C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SICARIOS Fútbol Club.
