Słodkie Cytryny's Worawat Worawattananon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fiori Diniz in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute Cyryl Balkiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ian Brasil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Álvaro Sá in the 29th minute of play forced Słodkie Cytryny's goalkeeper Worawat Worawattananon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Damazy Trzemzalski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ian Brasil was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Damazy Trzemzalski sped through ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ian Brasil. The supporters of Słodkie Cytryny booed when ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Paulo Camargo didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Damazy Trzemzalski in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ian Brasil saved ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™ from getting behind. In the 37th minute, Bogdan Marchefka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luiz Paulo Camargo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 38th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Worawat Worawattananon made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Teodoro Prestes sent off a good shot on target. In the 45th minute Teodoro Prestes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Worawat Worawattananon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cyryl Balkiewicz to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Cyryl Balkiewicz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Słodkie Cytryny's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cyryl Balkiewicz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Worawat Worawattananon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Álvaro Sá in the 55th minute of the match. 56 minutes into the match, ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s goal looked a bit too open when Iwan Szarmach came free, but Ian Brasil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute, Ryszard Majorski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute, Iwan Szarmach left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Słodkie Cytryny fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After 74 played minutes ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™ got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Prestes. Worawat Worawattananon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodoro Prestes in the 79th minute of play. Grzegorz Jaraczewski hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After 85 played minutes ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™ got a freekick which was hit by Pedrinho Carvalho. Pedrinho Carvalho hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. When Damazy Trzemzalski came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Słodkie Cytryny fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damazy Trzemzalski couldn't finish the play.

The Słodkie Cytryny supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Słodkie Cytryny would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
