Thierry Henry started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andreas Bollström during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Robin Apelqvist fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pihl United's protests and gave Robin Apelqvist a yellow card for diving instead. Pihl United's Hjalmar Lind played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvin Söderkvist in the 13th minute of play. A collision led to Westra Aros SK getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Alvin Söderkvist hit a great ball. When Alvin Söderkvist fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Westra Aros SK's protests and gave Alvin Söderkvist a yellow card for diving instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thierry Henry in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ivan Västlund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Don Nickler who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Hjalmar Lind when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ivan Västlund stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thierry Henry's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Hjalmar Lind came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Westra Aros SK's Don Nickler. But to his dismay, Don Nickler quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Hjalmar Lind took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvin Söderkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Westra Aros SK defense, Ciro Immobile kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ivan Västlund. The Westra Aros SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ivan Västlund should have stopped the shot. In the 40th minute, Alvin Söderkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hjalmar Lind took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvin Söderkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Elliot Malmgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Don Nickler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ivan Västlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thierry Henry, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. When Westra Aros SK's Don Nickler in 76 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Hjalmar Lind guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After 77 played minutes Westra Aros SK got a freekick which was hit by Uno Bjurström. Ciro Immobile received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Ivan Västlund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th minute Alvin Söderkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hjalmar Lind saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivan Västlund didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 82nd minute, which inside left pole to 2-4. After 89 minutes, Ciro Immobile made it 2-5 with a short kick to the right side. Westra Aros SK's Ivan Västlund tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Westra Aros SK getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Alvin Söderkvist hit a great ball. Pihl United's Hjalmar Lind played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Don Nickler in the 94th minute of play.
