In the 10th minute Thomas Tengelin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moïse Labruyère saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thomas Tengelin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Moïse Labruyère tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Avel Vat's Ilan Champion seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ilan Champion the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Avel Vat protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ilan Champion had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Moïse Labruyère had in the 20thth minute some difficulties stopping Thomas Tengelin's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 22nd minute, Youri Djorkaeff ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sandro Ormea was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 25th minute, Thomas Tengelin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guillaume Minier in the 26th minute of play forced Bɪᴀɴᴄᴀ ŦС's goalkeeper Sandro Ormea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Moïse Labruyère showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gösta Andreasson in the 33rd minute of the match. The supporters of Bɪᴀɴᴄᴀ ŦС booed when Avel Vat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geoffrey Estienne didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thomas Tengelin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 39 minutes into the match, Gösta Andreasson notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Avel Vat's Moïse Labruyère. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Youri Djorkaeff made a kick off. Moïse Labruyère took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Tengelin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th match minute, Avel Vat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aymerick Thellier to maneuver through the defense. Gösta Andreasson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 61st match minute, Avel Vat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bilal Moutte to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute, Bilal Moutte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Moïse Labruyère made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andréas Holmstedt in the 65th minute of play. The supporters of Bɪᴀɴᴄᴀ ŦС booed when Avel Vat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmond Kubiak didn't get a good kick on the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Avel Vat's goal looked a bit too open when Fredrik Hermansson came free, but Moïse Labruyère reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bɪᴀɴᴄᴀ ŦС's Fredrik Hermansson managed to work through Avel Vat's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Fredrik Hermansson dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Edmond Kubiak kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. After 76 played minutes, Bɪᴀɴᴄᴀ ŦС's Arne Nyman shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Moïse Labruyère came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bɪᴀɴᴄᴀ ŦС reached it. Moïse Labruyère showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andréas Holmstedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. When Tomas Apelqvist fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bɪᴀɴᴄᴀ ŦС's protests and gave Tomas Apelqvist a yellow card for diving instead. In the 88th match minute, Bɪᴀɴᴄᴀ ŦС was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Apelqvist to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Sven-Ove Söderström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Moïse Labruyère was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Avel Vat's Moïse Labruyère played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Ove Söderström in the 94th minute of play. The referee's whistle sounded for the end of the second half. The match was tied at 1-1. None of the players looked happy at the prospect of extra-time.

With new strength the players walked out on the field for the first half of overtime. Fredrik Hermansson in Bɪᴀɴᴄᴀ ŦС was the one to initiate the kick off. In the 99th minute, Arne Nyman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sandro Ormea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Youri Djorkaeff in the 101st minute of the match. With a little luck, Avel Vat's Moïse Labruyère got control of the ball when Fredrik Hermansson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Avel Vat's Moïse Labruyère played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arne Nyman in the 105th minute of play. Sven-Erik Hedvall charged in rather forcefully in the 110th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sven-Erik Hedvall the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 110th minute of the game. One of Bɪᴀɴᴄᴀ ŦС:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Avel Vat:s goal. The referee gave Avel Vat a penalty, 111 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Youri Djorkaeff, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Bɪᴀɴᴄᴀ ŦС's Sandro Ormea. 1-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Avel Vat had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
