Spectators: 8796 (Terracing: 6598, Seating: 2023, VIP seats: 175) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Virgílio Marquez kicked off to start the match. Miguel Chaves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Norberd Valentík made a huge save. Norberd Valentík showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from César Cruz in the 9th minute of the match. AFK Petržalka's Juraj Poliovka quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Válbson Carvalho, made in the 11th minute of the game. PREZULO FC's Dida Brasil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roland Záhoran in the 13th minute of play. Válbson Carvalho struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Norberd Valentík didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PREZULO FC. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Miguel Chaves managed to get in a good position for a shot. PREZULO FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Miguel Chaves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Norberd Valentík breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, AFK Petržalka's Juraj Poliovka got a free kick in the 19th minute. Valdir Ferrazs short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got Norberd Valentík to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. PREZULO FC's Dida Brasil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roland Záhoran in the 27th minute of play. 35 minutes into the game, Dušan Glenda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Dida Brasil was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 44 minutes into the match, PREZULO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Roland Záhoran came free, but Dida Brasil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tibor Barmoš hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After 47 minutes, Tibor Barmoš mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AFK Petržalka and the PREZULO FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 47th match minute, AFK Petržalka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tibor Barmoš to maneuver through the defense. After the first half AFK Petržalka were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tibor Barmoš to make the kick off. AFK Petržalka's Roland Záhoran got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. PREZULO FC's Miguel Chaves got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Valdir Ferraz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Virgílio Marquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roland Záhoran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Norberd Valentík made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgílio Marquez in the 69th minute of play. In the 72nd minute Roland Záhoran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dida Brasil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dida Brasil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roland Záhoran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AFK Petržalka's Roland Záhoran got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dida Brasil stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roland Záhoran's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Roland Záhoran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dida Brasil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roland Záhoran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The AFK Petržalka players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
