Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 2nd minute, when Jeronimo Txatxu sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeronimo Txatxu got free with Julio Vera in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sebastian Sandberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastian Sandberg came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig. But to his dismay, Juan Sebastián Puig quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Ander Uibomäe charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ander Uibomäe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ander Uibomäe hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sebastian Sandberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Sandberg having to interfere. Afonso Barral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. After 33 played minutes Xv de Piracicaba got a freekick which was hit by Min Son. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a free kick in the 34th minute. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Cristian Sancho sped through Xv de Piracicaba's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sebastian Sandberg. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sebastian Sandberg. Sebastian Sandberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. After some careless play in the Xv de Piracicaba defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sebastian Sandberg. The Xv de Piracicaba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sebastian Sandberg should have stopped the shot. Afonso Barral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jeronimo Txatxu to strike the kick off in the second half. Jeronimo Txatxu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. A collision led to Xv de Piracicaba getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Min Son hit a great ball. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sebastian Sandberg. Sebastian Sandberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Xv de Piracicaba's goalkeeper Sebastian Sandberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Sebastian Sandberg in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Xv de Piracicaba's goalkeeper Sebastian Sandberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Xv de Piracicaba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Rocchi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Felix Montenegro could shoot a difficult shot in the 80th minute, which Sebastian Sandberg however easily saved by the left post. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sebastian Sandberg. Sebastian Sandberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great ball. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramon Menezes in the 84th minute of play. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramon Menezes, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 96 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Jeronimo Txatxu came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Xv de Piracicaba throughout the match.
