The tension between the Peru and the Dionisia players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 9 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Efraim Gilabert. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 15th minute of play forced Dionisia's goalkeeper Serafim Eanes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Serafim Eanes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Dionisia's Tomás Xacintu got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute, Lucio Garoa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Serafim Eanes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Mina in the 27th minute of the match. In the 27th minute Eliseo Mina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafim Eanes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 28 minutes Dionisia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimeno Dalmai in the 30th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Serafim Eanes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. In the 36th minute, Alonso Berganza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Florencio Chano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Milagros Fraga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Serafim Eanes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Julian Murillo made the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes of play, Peru's Julian Murillo made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Serafim Eanes was left in no man's land by his defense there! 58 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Jimeno Dalmai came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Serafim Eanes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnaldo Beturian in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolando Noboa saved Peru from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Peru's zone, Jimeno Dalmai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal and Jimeno Dalmai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 72 minutes Peru's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lucio Garoa who took care of the corner kick. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Cheng Xiong Yuan, made in the 77th minute of the game. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Through an outstanding action, after 85 minutes, Serafim Eanes successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 90th minute of the match Peru got a corner. Dionisia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eliseo Mina ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 92nd minute Jimeno Dalmai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Serafim Eanes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Gallo, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Peru eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
