Basílio Lemos in the 39thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julio Vera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Homero Sacramento having to interfere. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Homero Sacramento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Serafim Guimarães hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ricardo Henriques stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Felix Montenegro came free with the goalkeeper in the 51st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Homero Sacramento could save by the left post. Homero Sacramento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A well-hit corner resulted in Felix Montenegro heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. SITIO CITY made a substitution. After 63 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Homero Sacramento was left in no man's land by his defense there! Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Homero Sacramento made a huge save. Homero Sacramento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 69th minute of the match. Rui Morais got his second yellow card in the match during the 69th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, SITIO CITY's Rui Morais got a free kick in the 70th minute. Veríssimo Pestana's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Veríssimo Pestana helped the player get up and apologised. In the 71st minute, Veríssimo Pestana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Homero Sacramento read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. After having played for 72 minutes, Ricardo Henriques managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SITIO CITY's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ricardo Henriques was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. SITIO CITY's Homero Sacramento proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save SITIO CITY from getting a goal against them. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Homero Sacramento made a huge save. 78 minutes into the match, SITIO CITY's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Homero Sacramento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Veríssimo Pestana kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basílio Lemos in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 86th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Homero Sacramento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Homero Sacramento came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Luis Andino. But to his dismay, Luis Andino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. SITIO CITY's Homero Sacramento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 91st minute of play. The SITIO CITY fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
