Carlos Berbiz's late challenge caught a Colombia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Berbiz helped the player get up and apologised. After 4 played minutes White&Blue Lions-Stiinta- got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Berbiz. George Deac kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cheng Zhan Sheng in the 10th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Abram Sarmiento had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Codruț Hanganu. White&Blue Lions-Stiinta-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abram Sarmiento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remigio Vigil in the 20th minute of the match. Remigio Vigil succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 20th playminute. In the 25th minute of the match White&Blue Lions-Stiinta- got a corner. Colombia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cheng Zhan Sheng ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Magne Wenerdahl managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 32 minutes into the match, White&Blue Lions-Stiinta-'s goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Codruț Hanganu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Colombia's Abram Sarmiento got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Codruț Hanganu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Colombia booed when White&Blue Lions-Stiinta- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. George Deac didn't get a good kick on the ball. Axel Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Codruț Hanganu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joshua Garrido, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Remigio Vigil to make the kick off. If Kevin Mastache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kajetan Ruszkowski kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. When Axel Montenegro came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Colombia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Axel Montenegro couldn't finish the play. Pedro Manzanares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cheng Zhan Sheng went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. Abram Secada who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Codruț Hanganu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the White&Blue Lions-Stiinta- players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
