Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Axel Tasis started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Clube de Regatas Flalengo's Elivélton Couto got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Elivélton Couto didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-0 via right post in the game's 6th minute. Clube de Regatas Flalengo's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! 15 minutes into the match, Clube de Regatas Flalengo's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Tasis came free, but Amauri Xavier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silvinho Soeiro charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silvinho Soeiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in Clube de Regatas Flalengo's zone, Lautaro Puig stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amauri Xavier came out of the goal and Lautaro Puig tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Lautaro Puig fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Lautaro Puig a yellow card for diving instead. Elivélton Couto who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Benito Sanz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 33rd play minute Elivélton Couto came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Benito Sanz. 2-0. 38 minutes into the game, Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amauri Xavier made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Amauri Xavier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Puig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Clube de Regatas Flalengo's Elivélton Couto. But to his dismay, Elivélton Couto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Elivélton Couto made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Hugo Ferrant hit a great ball. Silvinho Soeiro was shown his second yellow card after 55 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 56 played minutes Clube de Regatas Flalengo got a freekick which was hit by Silvinho Soeiro. Nuno Gomes struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Clube de Regatas Flalengo. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Alan Moruga got a free kick in the 63rd minute. 64 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Elivélton Couto came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Eliseo Noboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clube de Regatas Flalengo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 76th minute, when Eliseo Noboa scored to the left of an out of position Amauri Xavier, making the score, 3-2. After a rather tough play, Clube de Regatas Flalengo's Ronaldão Gaspar got a free kick in the 79th minute. Eliseo Noboa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Amauri Xavier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Clube de Regatas Flalengo's Amauri Xavier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Tasis in the 86th minute of play. After 91 minutes Clube de Regatas Flalengo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Axel Tasis who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Axel Tasis almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Clube de Regatas Flalengo's Amauri Xavier did a great save.
