Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Xencio Millan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberto Tafalla went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. If Luca Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Cardiff City FC's zone, Joel Gaona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xencio Millan came out of the goal and Joel Gaona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 20 minutes into the match, Cardiff City FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Zorita came free, but Xencio Millan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xencio Millan having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Efraim got free with Dante Lacasa in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Xencio Millan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Lautaro Mancebo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xencio Millan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonardo Leoz during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 36 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Leoz. In the 42nd minute, Julian Efraim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 47th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xencio Millan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Gaona to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Lautaro Mancebo lined in a short shot 0-2 behind a frustrated Xencio Millan. With a little luck, Cardiff City FC's Xencio Millan got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Xencio Millan made a huge save. 68 minutes into the game, Rafa Coutinho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cardiff City FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexico the free kick. The supporters of Mexico booed when Cardiff City FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafa Coutinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Xencio Millan in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Efraim, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. With a little luck, Cardiff City FC's Xencio Millan got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jairo Ler in the 74th minute of the match. Xencio Millan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After 79 minutes of play, Mexico's Joel Gaona made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Xencio Millan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cardiff City FC's Baltasar Bertin managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Leonardo Leoz in the 82 minute of the game. In the 85th match minute, Cardiff City FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by M. Andik Faturrahman to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Joel Gaona got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Xencio Millan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Lautaro Mancebo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The throw-in from Lautaro Mancebo in the 89th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Cardiff City FC's Everardo Joey. Cardiff City FC's attentive Baltasar Bertin managed to snatch the ball when Leonardo Leoz made a throw-in in the 90th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Lautaro Mancebo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Xencio Millan. That made the score 0-4 in the 91 minute of play. When the match was over Mexico could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cardiff City FC throughout the match.
