The Lemel SV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Roland Burdzel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sjoerd Bosschaart, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 24 minutes into the match, Lemel SV's goal looked a bit too open when Remigiusz Huchro came free, but Olivier Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Fryderyk Knopek fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored STAL ST WOLA's protests and gave Fryderyk Knopek a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Lemel SV booed when STAL ST WOLA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fryderyk Knopek didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute, Leon Reiling got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wladyslaw Motowski to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roman Pusiak got free with Olivier Kahn in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Lemel SV getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Sjoerd Bosschaart hit a great ball. Olivier Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roman Pusiak in the 63rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in STAL ST WOLA's zone, Pieter den Hartog stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roland Burdzel came out of the goal and Pieter den Hartog tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Wladyslaw Motowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Reinhard Braamhaar during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Reinhard Braamhaar hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Remigiusz Huchro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franciszek Karbowski in the 83rd minute of play forced Lemel SV's goalkeeper Olivier Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Lemel SV defense, Wladyslaw Motowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olivier Kahn. The Lemel SV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olivier Kahn should have stopped the shot. Roland Burdzel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pieter den Hartog, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lemel SV's Olivier Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jurand Galagan in the 93rd minute of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
