Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedro Luís Lima in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Niklas Ström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pedro Luís Lima came free with the goalkeeper in the 11th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Niklas Ström could save by the left post. In the 24th minute Inácio de Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niklas Ström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, UÅ Mästerbotten's Marcus Söderman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jean Donato narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Inácio de Lima fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Red John S.K's protests and gave Inácio de Lima a yellow card for diving instead. In the 33rd match minute, Red John S.K was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inácio de Lima to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute, Pedro Luís Lima reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Niklas Ström. The goal made the score 1-1. Breno Ceresso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Niklas Ström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Niklas Ström made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Breno Ceresso sent off a good shot on target. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pedro Luís Lima to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, UÅ Mästerbotten was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mikael Valrot to maneuver through the defense. UÅ Mästerbotten's Niklas Ström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Soares in the 56th minute of play. After some careless play in the UÅ Mästerbotten defense, Pedro Luís Lima kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Niklas Ström. The UÅ Mästerbotten fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Niklas Ström should have stopped the shot. Niklas Ström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Léo Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Niklas Ström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Léo Almeida went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inácio de Lima in the 77th minute of play forced UÅ Mästerbotten's goalkeeper Niklas Ström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Inácio de Lima's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Niklas Ström was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Niklas Ström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Velloso in the 80th minute of play. Niklas Ström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Luís Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Red John S.K's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
