Mihkel Aksalu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 8 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Josepe Zabalo. Amado Jurdan hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Julian Murillo took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mihkel Aksalu. Mihkel Aksalu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. When Joaquin Prats fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Peru's protests and gave Joaquin Prats a yellow card for diving instead. In the 12th match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquin Prats to maneuver through the defense. Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Amado Jurdan in the 16 minute of the game. Mihkel Aksalu came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Julian Murillo. But to his dismay, Julian Murillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Mihkel Aksalu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 19th minute of the match. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nacho Hernández in the 21st minute of play. After having played for 21 minutes, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julian Murillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mihkel Aksalu saved Dep. Moron from getting behind. Peru were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Dep. Moron's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. After taking down the ball on Peru's corner Alonso Berganza fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mihkel Aksalu quite easily take care of the ball. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nacho Hernández, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mihkel Aksalu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Josepe Zabalo in the 31st minute. Mihkel Aksalu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After a rather tough play, Dep. Moron's Amado Jurdan got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 40th minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Alonso Berganza got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mihkel Aksalu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 41st minute Eliseo Mina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihkel Aksalu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Josepe Zabalo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rolando Noboa came out and tried to block the shot, but Josepe Zabalo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 47th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Murillo made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Moises Gayoso threw the ball into play from the sideline. Dep. Moron's Josepe Zabalo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nacho Hernández in the 54th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josepe Zabalo, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josepe Zabalo in the 56th minute of the match. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Amado Jurdan made a throw-in in the 65th minute of the game. 66 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mihkel Aksalu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gao Kun Ling fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Noboa having to interfere. The throw-in from Amado Jurdan in the 81st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Alonso Berganza. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Mina in the 84th minute of play forced Dep. Moron's goalkeeper Mihkel Aksalu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mihkel Aksalu made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Julian Murillo sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Mihkel Aksalu in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luz Tejedor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Mihkel Aksalu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. 97 minutes into the game, Amado Jurdan threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Alonso Berganza quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The Peru supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Peru would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
