Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karl-Erik Mattsson in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Day prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 18 minutes into the game, Karl-Erik Mattsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Marco Day was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Sannegården BK defense, Cassius Byrne kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fredric Olsson. The Sannegården BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fredric Olsson should have stopped the shot. Fredric Olsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 25th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Erik Mattsson in the 27th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Mcdonald in the 28th minute of play forced Sannegården BK's goalkeeper Fredric Olsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st match minute, Sannegården BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kristof De Poorter to maneuver through the defense. When Cassius Byrne came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the USA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cassius Byrne couldn't finish the play. The ball had pretty good speed, but Marco Day firmly grabbed it by the left post. 44 minutes into the game, Diego Bradley threw the ball into play from the sideline. Sannegården BK's Emilian Braga quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Karl-Erik Mattsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marco Day having to make a save.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Karl-Erik Mattsson was the one to do the kick off. Fabian Brown lost his temper 51 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee gave Sannegården BK a penalty, 53 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Karl-Erik Mattsson, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of USA's Marco Day. 2-2. Sannegården BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Róbson Eger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Day breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew the final whistle, Sannegården BK could leave the field as winners, despite USA having more of the ball for most of the match.
