Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pelle Flinck during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. U21 Poland made a substitution. Iwan Rzentkowski replaced Witold Bycofski. Pelle Flinck hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robertas Lewandowski in the 7th minute of play forced U21 Sweden's goalkeeper Sixten Nordström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sixten Nordström came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by U21 Poland's Iwan Rzentkowski. But to his dismay, Iwan Rzentkowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Sixten Nordström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rusi Moskal in the 11th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, U21 Sweden's goal looked a bit too open when Rusi Moskal came free, but Sixten Nordström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, U21 Poland's Tanek Wojtyna got control of the ball when Wiktor Kjellqvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tanek Wojtyna made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pelle Flinck in the 19th minute. U21 Sweden's Sixten Nordström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rusi Moskal in the 21st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as U21 Sweden's Karl-Erik Lind slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tanek Wojtyna. That made the score 1-1 after 24 minutes of play. After 28 played minutes U21 Poland got a freekick which was hit by Rusi Moskal. In the 29th minute Pelle Flinck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tanek Wojtyna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tanek Wojtyna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pelle Flinck in the 33rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iwan Rzentkowski in the 34th minute of play forced U21 Sweden's goalkeeper Sixten Nordström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zdzislaw Kręcina kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Tanek Wojtyna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pelle Flinck in the 39th minute of the match. Sixten Nordström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robertas Lewandowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes in the game, Wiktor Kjellqvist dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. 43 minutes into the game, U21 Poland's Rusi Moskal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sixten Nordström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Sixten Nordström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rusi Moskal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
U21 Poland's Zbigniew Boniek was substituted for Wiktor Hodyl. The wind increased when Pelle Flinck made the kick off in the second half. Sixten Nordström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rusi Moskal in the 54th minute of play. Tanek Wojtyna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wiktor Kjellqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. U21 Sweden made a substitution. Viggo Vassenius replaced Richard Tinglöv. U21 Sweden's Tommy Sundberg was substituted for Wiktor Kjellqvist. After 63 played minutes U21 Sweden got a freekick which was hit by Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos. U21 Sweden's Sixten Nordström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robertas Lewandowski in the 74th minute of play. After a rather tough play, U21 Sweden's Björn Ahlberg got a free kick in the 77th minute. Tanek Wojtyna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos in the 80th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tanek Wojtyna saved U21 Poland from getting behind. The supporters of U21 Sweden booed when U21 Poland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Er Håland didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tommy Sundberg scored 2-3 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tanek Wojtyna, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 92 minutes into the game, Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Tanek Wojtyna was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 96th minute, Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The U21 Sweden fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. U21 Sweden had won after a very even match.
