Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Clapham Comets F.C.'s Paul Mersø started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vinnie Small. Vinnie Small dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 13 minutes into the game, Tom Rosický was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Clapham Comets F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. After 13 played minutes Clapham Comets F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Tom Rosický. Vinnie Small showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 15th minute of the match. A collision led to Clapham Comets F.C. getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Martyn Lawson hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Cristian Sancho put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Vinnie Small. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vinnie Small prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 27 minutes into the match, Luis Andino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vinnie Small. Clapham Comets F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luis Andino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Cristian Sancho scored 0-4 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vinnie Small, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vinnie Small came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vinnie Small. Vinnie Small dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. After some careless play in the Clapham Comets F.C. defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vinnie Small. The Clapham Comets F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vinnie Small should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a free kick in the 47th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Clapham Comets F.C. booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 55 minutes, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Andino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 56th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Vinnie Small. Clapham Comets F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-9. 60 minutes into the match, Clapham Comets F.C.'s goalkeeper Vinnie Small had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. Vinnie Small was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Agustín Saelices capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Agustín Saelices really showed his touch with that goal: 0-10. In the 65th minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-11. Clapham Comets F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Cristian Sancho scored to the left of an out of position Vinnie Small, making the score, 0-12. Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vinnie Small having to make a save. A hard shot 74 in the game by Daniel Zorita from a close distance when the talented Vinnie Small managed to make a qualified save. Clapham Comets F.C.'s players were relieved. 78 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-13. Vinnie Small was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Daniel Zorita who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 81stth minute tested the skills of Vinnie Small when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 85 minutes into the game, Felix Montes lined in a short shot 0-14 behind a frustrated Vinnie Small. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paul Mersø in the 88th minute of play. Clapham Comets F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 91st minute, when Luis Andino scored to the left of an out of position Vinnie Small, making the score, 0-15. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tom Rosický, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tom Rosický in the 95th minute of play. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Clapham Comets F.C. throughout the match.
