In the 12th minute, Stamen Tekeliev left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Playa Malvín fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Zé Roberto Teixeira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Manole Cristoiu went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Artzai Tarin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stamen Tekeliev in the 17th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manole Cristoiu in the 18th minute of play forced Playa Malvín's goalkeeper Zé Roberto Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Artzai Tarin came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Playa Malvín's Stamen Tekeliev. But to his dismay, Stamen Tekeliev quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. 33 minutes into the match, Playa Malvín's goal looked a bit too open when Manole Cristoiu came free, but Zé Roberto Teixeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stamen Tekeliev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Artzai Tarin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gamus Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stamen Tekeliev was the one to do the kick off. When Stamen Tekeliev fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Playa Malvín's protests and gave Stamen Tekeliev a yellow card for diving instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Manole Cristoiu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Orgullo's supporters rose to their feet, but Manole Cristoiu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zé Roberto Teixeira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Playa Malvín's Josu Onez was substituted for Sandu Mândrilă. Playa Malvín made a substitution. Quinto Ampudia replaced Stamen Tekeliev. Orgullo made a substitution. Aimar Barro replaced Manole Cristoiu. In the 64th minute of the game Braulio Carrasco made a throw-in which Aimar Barro played forward. In the 66th minute Quinto Ampudia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artzai Tarin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Orgullo's goalkeeper Artzai Tarin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aimar Barro in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zé Roberto Teixeira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 78 minutes into the match, Alvise Catapano notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Orgullo's Artzai Tarin. Artzai Tarin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Orgullo's Artzai Tarin got control of the ball when Quinto Ampudia tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 84 minutes of play, Orgullo's Aimar Barro made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zé Roberto Teixeira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Playa Malvín's Gamus Rocha managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Braulio Carrasco in the 88 minute of the game. In the 89th match minute, Orgullo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Braulio Carrasco to maneuver through the defense. 91 minutes into the match, Orgullo's goal looked a bit too open when Quinto Ampudia came free, but Artzai Tarin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gungun Karo-karo hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Orgullo's Artzai Tarin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Orgullo from getting a goal against them.

The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Playa Malvín eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
