Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Artemio Ibañez dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Julio Vera, 1-0. Montecarlo FC's Geronimo Colas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 12th minute of play. Felix Montenegro scored 1-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Geronimo Colas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Geronimo Colas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Geronimo Colas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Daniel Zorita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Geronimo Colas was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. After 27 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Geronimo Colas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Geronimo Colas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Montecarlo FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Julio Vera was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Artemio Ibañez showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-4 in the 43 minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Fernan Naelio came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Artemio Ibañez made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Artemio Ibañez notched a goal, 3-4, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Montecarlo FC's Mauricio Urbez got a free kick in the 55th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Geronimo Colas in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 57th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Montecarlo FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The audience was convinced that Artemio Ibañez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Geronimo Colas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. The supporters of Montecarlo FC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Arias didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute Filomeno Izotz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Artemio Ibañez in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Montecarlo FC made a substitution. Leon Min replaced Jesus Iratxo. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geronimo Colas came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-5. After 90 minutes, Cristobal Txindoki made it 4-5 with a short kick to the right side. Ecuador's Julio Vera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristobal Txindoki in the 93rd minute of the match. When Montecarlo FC's Cristobal Txindoki in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Ecuador played a much better game than Montecarlo FC and deserved their victory. The Montecarlo FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
