Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jaime Pardo got the match started through his kick off. When Edu Gomes came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Farroupilha FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edu Gomes couldn't finish the play. Jacobo Nores didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edu Gomes went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. When Farroupilha FC's Edu Gomes in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Paraguay's goalie prevented a goal. Farroupilha FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edu Gomes in the 22nd minute. In the 24th match minute, Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Escribano to maneuver through the defense. 25 minutes into the game, Angelo Amorim cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Jacobo Nores was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jacobo Nores stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Conrado Sabóia's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Paraguay's Juan Diego Tenorio quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Angelo Amorim, made in the 35th minute of the game. After 40 played minutes Farroupilha FC got a freekick which was hit by Váldson de Amorim. 44 minutes into the match, Edu Gomes notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Paraguay's Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado Sabóia in the 47th minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edu Gomes was the one to do the kick off. Iker Tafalla kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. 53 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Conrado Sabóia came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Farroupilha FC's Cristiano Lara got a free kick in the 56th minute. Farroupilha FC's Benjamim Mendes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Farroupilha FC from getting a goal against them. 59 minutes into the match, Angelo Amorim had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Angelo Amorim was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Jaime Pardo struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Benjamim Mendes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paraguay. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edu Gomes in the 72nd minute of play. After having played for 73 minutes, Edu Gomes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Farroupilha FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edu Gomes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jacobo Nores stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edu Gomes's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Primitivo Escribano's late challenge caught a Farroupilha FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Primitivo Escribano helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Paraguay's Primitivo Escribano got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Váldson de Amorim charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Váldson de Amorim the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 84 played minutes Farroupilha FC got a freekick which was hit by Váldson de Amorim. A collision led to Paraguay getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Hector Covarrubias hit a great ball. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edu Gomes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Farroupilha FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
