Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. 6 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christian Kerville made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christian Kerville breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 12 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Rick Souness came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christian Kerville took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elderslie Magpies's Christian Kerville played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 19th minute of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Neal Weatherby in the 20th minute of play. Christian Kerville made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Montenegro in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 26th minute of play forced Elderslie Magpies's goalkeeper Christian Kerville to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christian Kerville. Christian Kerville dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Christian Kerville tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christian Kerville showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Christian Kerville made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 41st minute of play. Rick Souness kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Elderslie Magpies players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Neal Weatherby made a kick off. With a little luck, Elderslie Magpies's Christian Kerville got control of the ball when Felix Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christian Kerville. Christian Kerville dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Christian Kerville didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Montenegro got free with Christian Kerville in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 60 minutes into the game, Ralph Gorham was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Elderslie Magpies's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. Christian Kerville made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Neal Weatherby in the 66th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 69th minute of play forced Elderslie Magpies's goalkeeper Christian Kerville to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Steven Chaptal kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Elderslie Magpies's Christian Kerville got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Elderslie Magpies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Finnlaugur Ásvaldsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elderslie Magpies's Pere Villanueva was substituted for Gilberto Fernandes. 81 minutes into the game, Luis Andino recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Christian Kerville. Luis Andino showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. After a defensive mix-up in Elderslie Magpies's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Kerville came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elderslie Magpies's Earl Prince was substituted for Ryszard Cipa. In the 94th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Christian Kerville was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7.
