Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Neal Weatherby kicked off to start the match. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Steven Chaptal sent off a good shot on target. Rick Souness struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Elderslie Magpies. Christian Kerville took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Steven Chaptal in the 9th minute. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Neal Weatherby got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 10th minute. The score was now 1-0. 13 minutes into the game, Elderslie Magpies's Steven Chaptal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Steven Chaptal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Elderslie Magpies's Christian Kerville played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 18th minute of play. Neal Weatherby scored 3-0 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A sloppy throw-in by Ryszard Cipa in the 27th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Venezuela's Alex Chicote. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Neal Weatherby in the 29th minute of play. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Kerville having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Neal Weatherby came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Neal Weatherby received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christian Kerville took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 53rd minute, Neal Weatherby ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Elderslie Magpies's Christian Kerville played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 57th minute of play. Ralph Gorham kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Elderslie Magpies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ryszard Cipa didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Elderslie Magpies's Christian Kerville got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 70th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. After 73 played minutes Elderslie Magpies got a freekick which was hit by Ralph Gorham. After a defensive mix-up in Elderslie Magpies's zone, Patricio Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Kerville came out of the goal and Patricio Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Venezuela's Camilo Gaos pulled a muscle in his back after 77 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Elderslie Magpies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rick Souness didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Christian Kerville tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ovidio Etxekopar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Sam Mccartan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute, Elderslie Magpies's Ralph Gorham seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ralph Gorham the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Elderslie Magpies protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ralph Gorham had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. When the match had been going on for 93 minutes, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Christian Kerville. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rick Souness in the 98th minute of play. Elderslie Magpies were awarded a corner in the 100th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rick Souness took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Rick Souness got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Elderslie Magpies's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
