Silvano Portillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filomeno Mendebal, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Silvano Portillo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Horacio Abajas's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. A collision led to Los Materos FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Mariano Ugaitz hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Los Materos FC's zone, Saturnino Romo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lazaros Kabantais came out of the goal and Saturnino Romo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Los Materos FC's Lazaros Kabantais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Frisco in the 25th minute of play. After 26 played minutes ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ got a freekick which was hit by Mats Liljeström. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horacio Abajas in the 31st minute of play forced ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s goalkeeper Silvano Portillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 93rd minute, Leo Bikendi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 94 minutes into the match, Tincho Palermo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Silvano Portillo. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tincho Palermo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 97th match minute, ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobias Xacintu to maneuver through the defense. For all the effort they put into the match, the ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Los Materos FC.
