BVB 09's Zygmunt Koprowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 13th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montes got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute Maxim Sfetcu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maxim Sfetcu in the 17th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zygmunt Koprowski having to interfere. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Zygmunt Koprowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zygmunt Koprowski having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zygmunt Koprowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 39 minutes into the game, BVB 09's Maxim Sfetcu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 43rd minute, Sorin Cotuțiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maxim Sfetcu was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind BVB 09's goalkeeper Zygmunt Koprowski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 55 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BVB 09 the free kick. Daniel Zorita hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute Maxim Sfetcu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by BVB 09's Maxim Sfetcu. But to his dismay, Maxim Sfetcu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. A collision led to BVB 09 getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Aurelian Jucan hit a great ball. Zygmunt Koprowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 62nd minute of the match. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Zygmunt Koprowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. BVB 09 made a substitution. Octavian Caragea replaced Iacob Vernescu. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Francisc Bîndean stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Francisc Bîndean tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Zygmunt Koprowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79thth minute of the game Maxim Sfetcu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 86 minutes into the match, BVB 09's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Zygmunt Koprowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Maxim Sfetcu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. After 92 played minutes BVB 09 got a freekick which was hit by Octavian Caragea. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. BVB 09 were victorious despite being under pressure from Ecuador for much of the match.
