Carlos Fernando Alvarenga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dinei Rosa in the 23rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Montenegro got free with Carlos Fernando Alvarenga in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dinei Rosa in the 77th minute of play. In the 78th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Fernando Alvarenga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 80th minute after Uno Mille FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. After a rather tough play, Uno Mille FC's Valdir Mandrak got a free kick in the 81st minute. Uno Mille FC made a substitution. Igor Neto replaced Cristóvão Senna. In the 83rd match minute, Uno Mille FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdir Mandrak to maneuver through the defense. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
