In the 10th minute, Basílio Lira fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Camilo Freixa, passed just outside the right post. Bolivia's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Oséas Mandrak 13 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Alfredo Ferrant's late challenge caught a Juvenil Sport Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfredo Ferrant helped the player get up and apologised. A hard shot by Sandrinho Quintal from long distance, 17 minutes into the match, got Camilo Freixa's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 18th minute, Julio Chicote hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Matheus Guimarães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Ferrant in the 24th minute of play. Camilo Freixa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Oséas Mandrak showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 25 minute of play. After 29 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso de la Cruz. Camilo Freixa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oséas Mandrak in the 31st minute. If Gilmar Trancoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th match minute, Bolivia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejandro Villa to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Basílio Lira took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Camilo Freixa to make any attempt to save it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mario Fernandino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Juvenil Sport Club's Luiz Guilherme Penha got a free kick in the 51st minute. Camilo Freixa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basílio Lira, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Eduardo Fontirroig blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Matheus Guimarães having to make a save. If Sebastião Queiroz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Basílio Lira took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Camilo Freixa. Camilo Freixa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Luiz Guilherme Penha charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luiz Guilherme Penha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 77 minutes into the game, one of Juvenil Sport Club:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Matheus Guimarães came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Bolivia's Alfonso de la Cruz. But to his dismay, Alfonso de la Cruz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Mario Fernandino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Matheus Guimarães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Bolivia's Julio Chicote sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Matheus Guimarães narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Juvenil Sport Club booed when Bolivia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Fernandino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eduardo Fontirroig was extremely unlucky when he, in the 97th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. There was no doubt that Juvenil Sport Club were the better team. Juvenil Sport Club's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
