Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Basílio Lira started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute, Luiz Guilherme Penha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 7th minute, Juvenil Sport Club's Armando Lara ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Camilo Freixa. Camilo Freixa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Eduardo Fontirroig managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bolivia's supporters rose to their feet, but Eduardo Fontirroig was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matheus Guimarães breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Matheus Guimarães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Fontirroig in the 22nd minute of play. Camilo Freixa made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Basílio Lira sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastião Queiroz in the 31st minute of play forced Bolivia's goalkeeper Camilo Freixa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Basílio Lira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Juvenil Sport Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Basílio Lira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Camilo Freixa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Benito Madrid fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bolivia's protests and gave Benito Madrid a yellow card for diving instead. In the 40th minute, Benito Madrid hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sandrinho Quintal's late challenge caught a Bolivia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sandrinho Quintal helped the player get up and apologised. After 45 played minutes Juvenil Sport Club got a freekick which was hit by Sandrinho Quintal. In the 46th minute, Mario Fernandino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bolivia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Mario Fernandino made the kick off in the second half. Sebastião Queiroz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Bolivia's Eduardo Fontirroig slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Matheus Guimarães. That made the score 1-2 after 79 minutes of play. Mario Fernandino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eduardo Fontirroig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Matheus Guimarães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Juvenil Sport Club's Matheus Guimarães got control of the ball when Eduardo Fontirroig tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Julio Chicote hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bolivia's Camilo Freixa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basílio Lira in the 97th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Bolivia eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
