After 11 played minutes 2kC Poznań got a freekick which was hit by Stanislaw Kisielka. In the 14th match minute, 2kC Poznań was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Czeslaw Dembowski to maneuver through the defense. Thiago Pliego made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Janusz Pusiak sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ulryk Merski got free with Thiago Pliego in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Mariano Lacasa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tadeusz Rutkowski was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind 2kC Poznań's goalkeeper Tadeusz Rutkowski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 23rd minute, Mariano Lacasa made a precise shot to the right of Tadeusz Rutkowski. 2kC Poznań's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes into the match, 2kC Poznań's Ulryk Merski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thiago Pliego narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 2kC Poznań were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Chile's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ulryk Merski took the corner. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tadeusz Rutkowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. In the 43rd minute Ulryk Merski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tadeusz Rutkowski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mariano Lacasa was the one to do the kick off. When Chile's Mariano Lacasa in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye 2kC Poznań's goalie prevented a goal. After 53 minutes 2kC Poznań's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mariano Lacasa who took care of the corner kick. Chile's Xavier Figueroa was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tadeusz Rutkowski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thiago Pliego came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by 2kC Poznań's Ulryk Merski. But to his dismay, Ulryk Merski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 2kC Poznań made a substitution. Zbigniew Zaworski replaced Marek Buczko. 2kC Poznań's Lucjan Sokol was substituted for Ulryk Merski. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Janusz Pusiak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chile's Mariano Lacasa got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 69 minutes into the match, 2kC Poznań's Janusz Pusiak sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thiago Pliego narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lucjan Sokol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Pliego having to interfere. 2kC Poznań's Tadeusz Rutkowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save 2kC Poznań from getting a goal against them. Mariano Lacasa in the 77thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tadeusz Rutkowski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 78 minutes into the game, Mariano Lacasa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Tadeusz Rutkowski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 85th match minute, 2kC Poznań was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Veijo Väätäinen to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Mariano Lacasa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tadeusz Rutkowski. That made the score 1-4 in the 90 minute of play. In the 92nd match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Tamayo to maneuver through the defense. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Janusz Pusiak in the 93rd minute of play. Chile's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
