Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Alex Chicote charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mörbyhus Palace's goalkeeper Wlodzimierz Dawiec, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Camilo Gaos kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Kenny Valrot sent off a good shot on target. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Nyberg in the 34th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Kenny Valrot ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 41 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Ingemar Tolsson came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Linus Hellsing sent off a good shot on target. In the 47th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wlodzimierz Dawiec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Mörbyhus Palace made a substitution. Per Sundström replaced Tommy Hagström. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 63rd minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingemar Tolsson in the 65th minute of the match. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Wlodzimierz Dawiec made a huge save. In the 68th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. Jens-Ola Finnman hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kenny Carlsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Mörbyhus Palace getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Jens-Ola Finnman hit a great ball. Mörbyhus Palace's Wlodzimierz Dawiec proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Mörbyhus Palace from getting a goal against them. In the 91st minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Linus Hellsing took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 97th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Venezuela players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Mörbyhus Palace.
