Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sergio Obiaga started the match with the kick off. Ascencio Mathey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 6th minute of play. In the 30th match minute, Modroñes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stacio Mijangos to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 35 minutes, Daniel Zorita made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Modroñes's Ascencio Mathey tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Stacio Mijangos kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, Agustín Saelices had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ascencio Mathey. Modroñes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Agustín Saelices was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ascencio Mathey. Ascencio Mathey dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ascencio Mathey. Ascencio Mathey yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. After a defensive mix-up in Modroñes's zone, Juan Sebastián Puig stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ascencio Mathey came out of the goal and Juan Sebastián Puig tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felix Machuca during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Felix Machuca kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 71 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Ascencio Mathey was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 75 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ascencio Mathey was left in no man's land by his defense there! Felix Montenegro succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-10 in the 81st playminute. Stacio Mijangos got his second yellow card in the match during the 84th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Modroñes's Stacio Mijangos got a free kick in the 85th minute. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 93 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ascencio Mathey made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-12.
