Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Peru's Julian Murillo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Brun O'Down showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. 3 minutes in the game, Julian Murillo dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 5th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brun O'Down saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Brun O'Down saved FC BaLiSt from getting behind. 13 minutes into the game, Caetano Messias cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Rolando Noboa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pascual Colon made in the 16th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Laureano Cresenciano. In the 19thth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC BaLiSt's Brun O'Down was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Brun O'Down showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 21st minute of the match. Pascual Colon made in the 24th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. 24 minutes into the match, FC BaLiSt's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Brun O'Down reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Caetano Messias notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Peru's Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grigore Zberea in the 30th minute of play. In the 34th minute, Julian Murillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brun O'Down was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grigore Zberea in the 37th minute of the match. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Brun O'Down read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Julian Murillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Brun O'Down was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luz Tejedor in the 46th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Emmanuel Reyes heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Brun O'Down took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 58 minutes into the match, FC BaLiSt's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Brun O'Down reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC BaLiSt's Petrică Burnei was substituted for Mihăiţă Șeicaru. FC BaLiSt's Traian Nanu was substituted for Aron Olteanu. Moises Gayoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. If Caetano Messias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brun O'Down made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Gallo in the 85th minute of play. When Caetano Messias fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC BaLiSt's protests and gave Caetano Messias a yellow card for diving instead. In the 92nd minute, Rafael Gallo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Costel Albescu, made in the 94th minute of the game. The audience was convinced that Rafael Gallo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Brun O'Down was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. Peru played a much better game than FC BaLiSt and deserved their victory. The FC BaLiSt players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
