Giacomo Casanova made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 15th minute of play. The supporters of Montesacro FC booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Cazalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Colombia's Pedro Manzanares got control of the ball when Loco Palermo tried to sneak it across the goal line. A throw-in in the 42nd minute of the game was made by Luis Cazalla with Santino Seco as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Kevin Mastache fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giacomo Casanova having to interfere. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paolo Rossi, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Loco Palermo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The wind increased when Loco Palermo made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, Montesacro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juliusz Julien to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abram Sarmiento in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Giacomo Casanova saved Montesacro FC from getting behind. 59 minutes into the match, Montesacro FC's Paolo Rossi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luis Cazalla got a throw-in 60 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Santino Seco. In the 63rd minute, Paolo Rossi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Montesacro FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1.
