Axel Tasis hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. 7 minutes into the game, Albertino Bezerra cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Teodosio De Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexander Carballo kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albertino Bezerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 余林海 hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Teodosio De Silva scored 2-0 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Aaron Alcocer's late challenge caught a Proson FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aaron Alcocer helped the player get up and apologised. Aaron Alcocer hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Albertino Bezerra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Albertino Bezerra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Axel Tasis to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Albertino Bezerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luan Valle in the 57th minute of play. Axel Tasis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Carmelo Abajas made a huge save. In the 62nd minute Axel Tasis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carmelo Abajas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Axel Tasis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Proson FC booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Alcocer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodosio De Silva in the 70th minute of play. In the 71st minute Albertino Bezerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saturnino Gaskon, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elpidio Koldobika, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute, Teodosio De Silva made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. 86 minutes into the game, Proson FC's Teodosio De Silva nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Proson FC's Teodosio De Silva got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Proson FC's Carmelo Abajas got control of the ball when Axel Tasis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Proson FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
