With an all-out effort, Boomer Fc's Rodriguinho Pernambucano threw himself towards the right post 3 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Teodoro Walcott, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Edmílson Vidal got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 21st minute, Edmílson Vidal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adelino Costa in the 25th minute of play forced Boomer Fc's goalkeeper Pedro Čech to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Delmar Soto fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boomer Fc's protests and gave Delmar Soto a yellow card for diving instead. In the 27th minute, Delmar Soto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Damario Izquierdo charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Damario Izquierdo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 28 played minutes Boomer Fc got a freekick which was hit by Damario Izquierdo. Boomer Fc's Pedro Čech played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmílson Vidal in the 29th minute of play. The corner led Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Nico Neves to fire away a dangerous shot which Pedro Čech despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Dieguinho Rossi got a free kick in the 31st minute. Pedro Čech showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmílson Vidal, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 36th match minute, Boomer Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmar Soto to maneuver through the defense. Boomer Fc's Pedro Čech played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adelino Costa in the 42nd minute of play. Adelino Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Cristóvão Tepedino fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Merusca F&P - CIMZ's protests and gave Cristóvão Tepedino a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Boomer Fc booed when Merusca F&P - CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 49 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristóvão Tepedino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

60 minutes had been played when some careless play by Boomer Fc's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nico Neves was slow to take the kick. During this time Merusca F&P - CIMZ's players had a chance to rest. After a defensive mix-up in Boomer Fc's zone, Ian Salles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Čech came out of the goal and Ian Salles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Juan Viqueira kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, Adelino Costa notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Boomer Fc's Pedro Čech. Pedro Čech was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Vânderson de Almeida got a free kick in the 68th minute. Teodoro Walcott received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Rodriguinho Pernambucano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Edmílson Vidal slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pedro Čech. That made the score 0-3 after 74 minutes of play. Boomer Fc's Pedro Čech played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmílson Vidal in the 80th minute of play. Cristóvão Tepedino hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Edmílson Vidal got a free kick in the 84th minute.

The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Merusca F&P - CIMZ eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
