The supporters of ZORZAL01 booed when Lyon 69ers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Steven Eckert didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 6th minute of the match Apolo Dalmau shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bart Larivière showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Bart Larivière made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Firmo in the 8th minute of play. A collision led to ZORZAL01 getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Lázaro Darien hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, ZORZAL01's Edgardo Nardo got a free kick in the 13th minute. Gregorio Cortez kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Pacôme Bousquiet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Lyon 69ers defense, Edgardo Nardo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bart Larivière. The Lyon 69ers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bart Larivière should have stopped the shot. 36 minutes into the match, ZORZAL01's Benjamin Firmo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bart Larivière narrowly saved just below the crossbar. ZORZAL01 were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after Lyon 69ers's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Leonel Unai took the corner. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paolo Gotzon during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Paolo Gotzon hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Julian Iratzeder hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After the first half ZORZAL01 were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yazid Danton to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, ZORZAL01's goal looked a bit too open when Yazid Danton came free, but Gaudencio Richie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Lyon 69ers's Bart Larivière got control of the ball when Edgardo Nardo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bart Larivière made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Paolo Gotzon sent off a good shot on target. In the 58th minute, Edgardo Nardo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bart Larivière was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Firmo in the 61st minute of play forced Lyon 69ers's goalkeeper Bart Larivière to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bart Larivière showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paolo Gotzon, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 94th minute, Edgardo Nardo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bart Larivière. The goal made the score 0-4.

The Lyon 69ers fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. ZORZAL01 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
