The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Injuries's Heine Dotte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dawid Jaszynski in the 6th minute of play. Rosen Philippe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Emil Zawadzki made a huge save. Jimmi Vedernes struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Emil Zawadzki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Injuries. Phil Lipp could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Emil Zawadzki made a huge save. Kajetan Bazan hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Ohimai Tsubasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Heine Dotte. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ohimai Tsubasa ran back to his position shaking his head. Heine Dotte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ohimai Tsubasa in the 25th minute of the match. A collision led to FC ICEWIND DALE getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Boguslaw Mochowak hit a great ball. Emil Zawadzki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimmi Vedernes in the 27th minute of play. Maksymilian Kajfasz charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maksymilian Kajfasz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, FC ICEWIND DALE's Maksymilian Kajfasz got a free kick in the 29th minute. Phil Lipp was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 30th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Jimmi Vedernes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Emil Zawadzki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emil Zawadzki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rosen Philippe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 38 played minutes FC ICEWIND DALE got a freekick which was hit by Beniamin Cieliczka. In the 40th minute, Jimmi Vedernes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Injuries fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ohimai Tsubasa was the one to do the kick off. One of Injuries:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC ICEWIND DALE:s goal. 62 minutes into the match, Ohimai Tsubasa notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Injuries's Heine Dotte. Heine Dotte was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Emil Zawadzki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erling Bøgeskov in the 66th minute of play. Rosen Philippe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of FC ICEWIND DALE booed when Injuries was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rosen Philippe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rosen Philippe hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After 82 minutes, Bartlomiej Chrobak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC ICEWIND DALE and the Injuries players grew even worse after the yellow card. The FC ICEWIND DALE supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC ICEWIND DALE would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
