Spectators: 584 (Terracing: 439, Seating: 134, VIP seats: 11) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Neville Wal kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Australian Youth Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Christijan van Asseldonk came free, but Dani Cochrane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Australian Youth Academy's Jamie Baba got a free kick in the 8th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joeri Buys in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dani Cochrane saved Australian Youth Academy from getting behind. Australian Youth Academy's Dani Cochrane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ted Kamps in the 16th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Albertus FC's zone, Olliver Todman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leendert Borg came out of the goal and Olliver Todman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leendert Borg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olliver Todman in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christijan van Asseldonk in the 28th minute of play forced Australian Youth Academy's goalkeeper Dani Cochrane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 30 played minutes Neville Wal rounded Albertus FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olliver Todman in the 37th minute of play forced Albertus FC's goalkeeper Leendert Borg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ben Minton in the 38th minute of play forced Albertus FC's goalkeeper Leendert Borg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herman Heberle in the 39th minute of play forced Albertus FC's goalkeeper Leendert Borg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olliver Todman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leendert Borg having to interfere. Dani Cochrane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joeri Buys, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Bradley Obree kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Bradley Obree hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joeri Buys to make the kick off. Dani Cochrane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joeri Buys in the 54th minute of the match. When Ben Minton fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Australian Youth Academy's protests and gave Ben Minton a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Australian Youth Academy getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Ben Minton hit a great ball. 56 minutes into the match, Australian Youth Academy's goalkeeper Dani Cochrane had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joeri Buys. 68 minutes into the match, Albertus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Neville Wal came free, but Leendert Borg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Gertjan van Damme fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Albertus FC's protests and gave Gertjan van Damme a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Albertus FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Gertjan van Damme hit a great ball. In the 71st minute, Herman Heberle ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leendert Borg was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. If Ted Kamps had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 82 played minutes, Australian Youth Academy's Herman Heberle shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Leendert Borg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Australian Youth Academy reached it. The supporters of Albertus FC booed when Australian Youth Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jemmett Baba didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute of the match Ted Kamps sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dani Cochrane skillfully saved the ball. In the 85th minute, Albertus FC's Ted Kamps dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Christijan van Asseldonk struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Dani Cochrane didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Albertus FC. After having played for 92 minutes, Ted Kamps managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Albertus FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ted Kamps was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
