The Montesacro FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Giacomo Casanova should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 9th minute of play forced Montesacro FC's goalkeeper Giacomo Casanova to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luz Tejedor in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute Loco Palermo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 12th minute of play forced Montesacro FC's goalkeeper Giacomo Casanova to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julian Murillo scored 0-2 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Giacomo Casanova, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Montesacro FC's Juliusz Julien got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emmanuel Reyes got a throw-in 26 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Luz Tejedor. Giacomo Casanova showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Giacomo Casanova showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 29th minute of the match. Julian Murillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luz Tejedor took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Giacomo Casanova. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Montesacro FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Emmanuel Reyes made in the 43rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Luz Tejedor however managed to control. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julian Murillo was the one to do the kick off. Emmanuel Reyes made in the 51st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Luz Tejedor however managed to control. When Julian Murillo came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julian Murillo couldn't finish the play. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Montesacro FC were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Peru's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Juliusz Julien took the corner. 56 minutes into the match, Montesacro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Giacomo Casanova reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Loco Palermo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Noboa having to interfere. Rolando Noboa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Loco Palermo's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Loco Palermo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Giacomo Casanova made a huge save. 73 minutes into the game, Montesacro FC's Paolo Rossi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rolando Noboa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Loco Palermo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Montesacro FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Loco Palermo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rolando Noboa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Ciccio Bussi made a throw-in in the 82nd minute of the game. 84 minutes into the game, Ciccio Bussi threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Eliseo Mina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Peru's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
