Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Joel Gaona started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Walentin Stammerjohan charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Walentin Stammerjohan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Gettrup SIK's Walentin Stammerjohan got a free kick in the 4th minute. Torjus Solvoll made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 10th minute of play. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Petrică Oproiu got free with Dante Lacasa in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 18 minutes of play, Mexico's Joel Gaona made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Torjus Solvoll was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zenon Gall in the 24th minute of play. In the 30th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torjus Solvoll saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the game, Krestoffer Brandmose was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gettrup SIK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexico the free kick. In the 31st match minute, Gettrup SIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Krestoffer Brandmose to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Petrică Oproiu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dante Lacasa was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Gettrup SIK's Torjus Solvoll played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Zorita in the 37th minute of play. After the first half Mexico were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zenon Gall made a kick off. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gettrup SIK's Torjus Solvoll played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 54th minute of play. In the 60th minute of the match, Joel Gaona tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Torjus Solvoll saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Through an outstanding action, after 61 minutes, Torjus Solvoll successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Keld Popp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute of the match, Alberto Tafalla tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Torjus Solvoll saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Joel Gaona made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that Gettrup SIK's Torjus Solvoll managed to reach the ball for a save. 84 minutes into the game, Gettrup SIK's Petrică Oproiu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dante Lacasa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Tafalla got free with Torjus Solvoll in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Gettrup SIK's Petrică Oproiu. But to his dismay, Petrică Oproiu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Gettrup SIK's Sten Vonk was substituted for Zenon Gall. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Loui Dyndgaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Mexico players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
