The throw-in from Christian Sancho in the 11th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Kolopetinitsa's Dionysis Salaggoudis. Iakovos Ksiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 16th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Sebastian Villa notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Kolopetinitsa's Iakovos Ksiros. Iakovos Ksiros was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Iakovos Ksiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Villa, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 37th minute, one of Kolopetinitsa:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Kolopetinitsa. Iakovos Ksiros had in the 38thth minute some difficulties stopping Edmundo Espiga's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 40th minute of play forced Kolopetinitsa's goalkeeper Iakovos Ksiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iakovos Ksiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 41st minute of play. A collision led to Kolopetinitsa getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Sotos Pagitis hit a great ball. In the 43rd minute of the match Edmundo Espiga shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Iakovos Ksiros showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 44th minute, Edmundo Espiga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iakovos Ksiros was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. In the 47th match minute, Kolopetinitsa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Argyris Kountouriotis to maneuver through the defense. The Kolopetinitsa players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Honduras were winning 0-4.

The wind increased when Argyris Kountouriotis made the kick off in the second half. Iakovos Ksiros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iakovos Ksiros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edmundo Espiga scored 0-5 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iakovos Ksiros, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Iakovos Ksiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After 75 minutes Kolopetinitsa's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edmundo Espiga who took care of the corner kick. With his leg Iakovos Ksiros managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Honduras's Edmundo Espiga fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Kolopetinitsa's defense didn't have a chance, in the 80th minute, when Sebastian Villa scored to the left of an out of position Iakovos Ksiros, making the score, 0-7. The Honduras fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when Honduras's Edmundo Espiga looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-8 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Edmundo Espigas short, quick shot in the 90thth minute got Iakovos Ksiros to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iakovos Ksiros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 92nd minute, Sebastian Villa made a precise shot to the right of Iakovos Ksiros. Kolopetinitsa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-9. The Kolopetinitsa fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Honduras were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
